The media lab is off to a busy pace this year working with faculty, staff, and students. In the last five weeks we have helped support the development of poster designs, webpage creation, video editing, video to DVD and other file conversions, audio recording and editing, scanning to PDF, mobile learning with iPods in English and Education, syllabus and handout printing, Moodle course management system creation, PowerPoint lecture writing and uploading, listserv making, webpage domain name registration, computer classroom reconfiguration, computer purchase recommendation suggestions, and more.
Current, ongoing projects for the MuLL include creating kiosk stations we're considering putting in hallways and pods, creating poster designs which could be printed and placed in classrooms, continuing to develop a streaming video media player within course management system design, developing an outsourcing model to help pay for resources, and updating and producing "howto" video tutorials to compliment those we already have through http://iMull.info.
We have been busy.
Know that graduate students and faculty can request a keycode to the MuLL to do media work at your convenience. If you have questions or would like to bounce ideas around, please contact us at mull@ttu.edu or 806.742.4548.
